Where would Toronto underground music and the culture that has surrounded it for decades be without Jason Palma? Its hard to imagine. As proprietor of Torontos most seminal and diverse record shop Play De Record, Jason has had a strong hand in so much of the quality music flowing through Torontos underground for ages. As a well-known and respected dj for over 20 years, Jasons sets have spanned an incredibly wide range of music, from house, funk, Latin soul, hip hop, acid jazz, Brazilian samba and afrobeat often mixed up in ways that one would previously think unmixable. Hes also been half Footprints - of one of the longest running and consistently exciting monthly events in the city for 12 years. And on top of all that you can hear him every Thursday on Higher Ground Radio, Jasons long-running radio show on CIUT FM 89.5 from 8-10pm. Cant wait to hear his Architextures debut!

Dans history with electronic music goes back almost as far as he does. From his early days of spectacularly mixing techno, breaks and drum n bass on vinyl, to live sets done solo and as one third of the Telefunk Soundsystem, to film scoring and various experimental excursions, Dan is always coming up with new and surprising ways to express himself through the medium of sound. Playing as his quirk alter ego, well be treated to some of his finest live dance floor techno. Delicious!

MORRIZON

Hailing from Baia Mare, Romania, Morrizon aka Marius Florea has a taste and style that could be variously described as deep, warm, clean and always engaging. Weaving together the deeper side of house and techno, his sets flow seamless and smooth. Looking forward to another quality Architextures debut!
