Mazi and Kian are the dynamic duo behind Nature of Music, a dj/live act, and Equaria, an event agency based out of Canada.

Known for their signature deep-atmospheric sound, combined with drum machines and topped with acapellas, Nature of Music has turned quite a lot of heads in the Canadian electronic music scene. Starting from underground loft parties and slowly making their way to clubs and festivals, their success wasnt overnight. It was through years of individual hard work that Mazi and Kian finally decided to join forces and create Nature of Music 2009. A project aimed to do more than just making people dance, a partnership aimed to address social and economical problems, to promote spirituality and shed light on propagandas and political misbeliefs.

From Off Sonar parties in Barcelona and showcases in Berlin, to festivals across Canada, Nature of Music has shared decks with Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Gui Boratto, Guy Gerber, Josh Wink, Pan-Pot, Dixon, Henrik Shwarz, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Kevin Saunderson, Marcel Dettmann, Robert Babicz, Paul Kalkbrenner, and more.

As recommended by Hernan Cattaneo in an interview with The DjList, Nature of Music was recognized as a top production duo to look out for.

Classically-trained pianist/DJ/producer Jessica Kaera Cho started her career lugging keyboard and amp around Toronto on the subway to busk in the city streets, chasing away thieves trying to grab her tip jar. She quickly moved up to playing club gigs with jazz, funk, soul and pop bands in Toronto and Korea until session work with Toronto house music producers introduced her to the underground dance music world.

Her DJ style is all over the map, ranging from moody Detroit techno to jazzy deep house, disco to broken beat, blending it all together into a sound all her own.

Her debut single Atom Heart released in early 2014 on Toronto house label Mikita Skyy. As half of Vision Of Paradise with Toronto deep house veteran Ali Black shes remixed synth pop band Parallels and South Africas Mulo Blaqe, and also accompanied Black on his Technobism single for Bulgarias Secret Jams label. More recently shes started a live electronic performance-based project called Chobo with multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Boles, and is working towards her own solo live show and LP.
