Rob Clutton is a composer/performer dedicated to diverse long term creative projects. His solo bass work includes two CDs on the Rat-drifting label: Dubious Pleasures and Suchness Monster. He has released two CDs of original compositions for small ensemble: Tender Buttons and Holstein Dream Pageant. The debut recording of Cluttertones is in progress. Clutton has been involved in collective projects such as Clutton/Michelli/West, Handslang, This Moment, a bass duo with Pete Johnston, and a banjo/voice duo with Randi Helmers. Other current and ongoing projects include: Ryan Driver Quintet, Drumheller, Nick Fraser Quartet, Steve Koven Trio, NOJO, Mark Segger Sextet, and Titanium Riot. Rob has also performed or recorded with artists such as Jandek, Jazzstory, Eugene Martynec, John Millard and Happy Day, David Mott Quintet. Germaine Liu is a Toronto-based percussionist. Liu has been privileged to work with many wonderful musicians, dancers and artists such as Anne Bourne, Matt Brubeck, Allison Cameron, Thomas Charmetant, Malcolm Goldstein, Peggy Lee, Urs Leimgruber, John Oswald, Nicole Rampersaud, Gino Robair, Danielle Palardy Roger, Evan Parker, Nick Storring, Scott Thomson and many others. She has participated in the 416 Festival, Guelph Jazz Festival, Nuit Blanche, Ottawa Chamber Festival, Sound Travels Festival, Suoni per il popolo, Supermusique, Toronto Jazz Festival, X-Avant festival, soundaXis festival, NAISAs Sound Bash, Tone Deaf Festival, MusicinGalleries, NUMUS, and AIMTorontos Leftover Daylight and Interface Series. Liu studied percussion with John Goddard and Jesse Stewart during her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Chris Pruden's musical journey began when he started piano at the age of 5. While studying classical piano he became interested in jazz after completing high school and is a recent graduate of of jazz performance at the University of Toronto. Teachers included Geoff Young, Gary Williamson and Chris Donnelly. Chris feels at home in a wide variety of genres and has performed in venues across Canada such as Edmonton's Winspear Centre, the AMPIA Film and TV awards, the Rex Jazz Bar in Toronto, the Trane Studio, Koerner Hall and many more. His playing draws from inspirations such as Keith Jarrett, Oscar Peterson, and Herbie Hancock, and also from classical, hip-hop, rock, and folk. These influences allow for a refreshing stylistic approach showcasing his sensitivity, creativity, and energetic spirit.
