A Taste of Kensington

Kensington Market is a distinctive multicultural neighbourhood in the core of the city. An older neighbourhood and one of the city’s most well-known. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in November 2006. Bordering Chinatown, the indoor/outdoor market may be one of the most photographed sites in Toronto. To some, gritty and rugged, to others, a throwback of the way life once was, to foodies, heaven. Relatively untouched for years, Kensington has been undergoing a state of gentrification, without losing its character. Explore one of the last authentic markets in Toronto on our Taste of Kensington Food Tour.
