One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enrol their kids in organized sports and physical activity.

We are a group of corporate communications and PR students from Centennial College that are hosting a fun community ice skating event to raise funds for Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart charity.

Jumpstart’s mission is to remove financial barriers that prevent Canadian families from enrolling their kids in organized sports and physical activities. Our group has fond memories of playing organized sports. We have strong team building skills and good physical fitness habits, which we attribute to these experiences. This is why we want to support Jumpstart and help ensure that every child in Canada is given the opportunities that we were given.

Join us on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. at Mattamy Athletic Centre (Maple Leaf Gardens) and enjoy an afternoon of friends, family, food, hot chocolate, skating, games, raffle prizes and a silent auction!
