2014 Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebration

The Toronto Chinatown Business Improvement Area (Chinatown BIA) would like to invite you and your family to celebrate the ringing in of the Chinese New Year at our Annual Event!

This year we will be celebrating the Year of the Horse on February 1st and 2nd, 2014 with Traditional Chinese performances ranging from Lion Dances, Martial Arts Demonstrations, Chinese Dance and Chinese Opera. We shall also be joined by the Toronto Zoo, giving you the chance to catch a glimpse of their Panda Mascot!

This year will also introduce some new distinctions, such as our Wishing Tree, Prizes from Toronto Zoo, Aum Center Yoga, Toronto Qigong etc; and Booths offering traditional activities for children and adults alike, these activities will include:

• Hand-made miniature clay dim sum demonstration

• Chinese windmill to bring good luck

• Paper lantern making

• Dart playing to bring good luck

So bring your family and friends to celebrate with us!
