WTH this probably has the most well known places I've seen on this list before. 2 restaurants from MasterChef Canada judges, a popular food truck turned restaurant, hot oven bakery, Whippoorwill...

I'm pretty sure this is the second time O & B have been noted.

Pretty sure some/most of the BV clientele doesn't check DineSafe. Went by Pearl the week it was given a red and it was was packed.

My family and I ate many times at Sierra Grill, in the same location where Origin North now stands. I did not know about this, which is in the site's review of the new restaurant: "Carving out the parking lot, and completely gutting the run down Sierra Grill, which closed in 2011 shortly after a nasty Hepatitis A outbreak..."

The front of house staff and managers don't bother to do their job at Origin North so I'm not surprised that the kitchen aren't doing theirs either. Seems to be what happens when chefs leave their restaurants to become TV stars.

Despite origin fancy exterior, they were extremely disappointing when delivering the food. Terrible portions, bad taste, fries uncooked and over cooked, had to take things back, extremely expensive for poor service... I'm surprised people still go there. I even went to fabrica a mark mcewan restaurant, it was also very disappointing. Their tiramasu was supposed to be "traditional", but nothing about it was traditional and it appears frozen. Service was extremely slow. We waited 2 hours and a half to get three meals for four people and the bill took longer.
