Your photos of sandwiches in Toronto

Posted by Staff / May 26, 2014

sandwiches torontoThe sandwich might be a candidate for everyone's favourite food. Perhaps that's because it can be any food stuffed between two pieces of bread or bun, but also, one suspects, because there are few things more comforting than digging in to a meal with your hands. We challenged our readers to share their favourite photos of sandwiches in Toronto, and the results are a mouthwatering array of stacked hoagies, heroes and subs. Thanks to all who participated, and to @chewtoronto for the lead photo in this roundup.

Wow great photos. BUT Wish I didn't have to read 10 Hastags per photo just to try and figure out where the sammie is from....

i person had 3 or 4 words and then 26!!....yes 26 hashtags.....insane

thanks BTo and the readers...been reading about Banh Mi Boys for so long and never thought about when i was out that way on Queen so never tried it.

a few months back they opened one here on Yonge St across from Auroa Condominium. I finally got to try them and it was the BEST sandwich I've ever eaten...ever.....the combination of the flavourful meat and veg filling and the pillowy softness of the and pictures don't do it justice.
