Tequila Tromba World Record

20 shots of the world's largest tequila tasting in Toronto

Thursday night Tequila Tromba held fort at 99 Sudbury for an attempt at the world's largest tequila tasting. A long list of who's who in the restaurant industry attended, alongside a throng of eager participants. With the previous record set at an impressive 341 by tequila enthusiasts in Penjamo, Mexico, they had their work cut out for them. On the menu was Tromba's blanco, reposado and anejo tequilas. By the organizer's count, 1000 people showed up but whether the gathering qualified for the record books won't be known until the Guinness folks release the next volume of their World Records book.

Check out our visual roundup of what went down on Thursday night.
