Is Parkdale about to get its own brewery?

Parkdale is about to get its own brewery, or at least it looks like it may. A couple of Facebook pages for the aptly named Parkdale Brewery have amassed upwards of 3,000 followers since they first went live at the beginning of October.

Not much is known about the new brewery, even if it actually exists, but comments on the site from its moderators assure it does. The venture will have three styles to begin with: Parkdale Pale Ale, Roncesvalles Red and Lord Dufferin Lager; as well as a book entitled "Parkdale: From booze-can to brewery," which hints at the mysterious brewery's origins in after hours clubs Boxxxcar, Battery and 42.

No one from the brewery was immediately available for comment, but we look forward to hearing more about the project in the near future.
