Harvest Wednesdays at the Gladstone

Hump Day just got a little bit better.

Starting today, the Gladstone is featuring Harvest Wednesdays, a series of wining and dining goodness. Running through October 4, the weekly events will focus on educating folk on the community shared agriculture (CSA) approach to food production, distribution and consumption. All while stuffing you with yummy creations (from CSA produce, no less!) and local wines and beers.

The menus will change each week, drawing inspiration from the best in peak season produce. Costs range from $7.50 per person for the tasting events to $110 per food-lover for the final seven-course extravaganza/fundraiser for Toronto's FoodShare program.

The first event is tonight, costs $7.50 and includes food, wine and beer tastings. You really can't go wrong.

When: Every Wednesday through October 4
Where: Gladstone Hotel (1214 Queen W)
Cost: From $7.50 to $110 per person. Most prix fixe meals $35 to $45.
For more info: 416.531.4635
Psst: Reservations required for some of the events, so plan ahead.
