A reason to excuse yourself - over and over

This could have been a food review. After a few outings to Spring Roll's new sister restaurant, East!, at Queen & John, I could go on and on about the lotus wrapped dim sum or the crispy-fantastic taro fries. I could. But this is not a food review.

East! may have the nicest bathrooms in the city. I arrived, excused myself, went off to wash my transit-riding hands and couldn't tear myself away. Full length wooden doors, black/chestnut brown walls and white lights glowing behind frosted glass. Subtle spotlights and stainless steel aside orchids and other gorgeous white flowers. Amazing.

I go for the food, but I think I go back for the bathrooms. Mmm mmm good.
