Rob Ford's been getting a whole lot of comedic attention south of the border, making regular appearances on the late night talk shows and a less than stellar SNL bit this weekend. Closer to home, 22 Minutes recently put together a best of Rob Ford episode. Perhaps funnier and more biting than this slapstick brand of comedy is Rick Mercer's latest rant, which is as insightful as it is laugh-worthy. On Ford Mercer says, "he's this close to biting the heads off live chickens on the Latin American freak show circuit." On Ford's politics, however, he offers a more cautious warning. "Rob Ford's popularity has nothing to do with the man himself. He is a circus act. But his politics are very real, and they should not be written off just because he's about to be."
