The Best Hand Dryer in Toronto
Ok, so this wasn't a category in our "Best of Toronto" reader survey, and debatably it may not even be the best hand dryer in the city, but it certainly deserves a nod for being one of the funniest contributions we've seen in the blogTO Flickr pool in quite some time.
This photo, taken by blogTO reader Gloria Nieto, got a genuine LOL out of me.
The cleverly-defaced hand dryer, which she dubbed "Popular wisdom: The bacon machine" was found and photographed in a restroom at Toronto's Eglinton Mall.
Thanks for sharing this one with us, Gloria!

That joke is as old as the bacon hand dryer itself!
Check it!
Thanks for the link, James. I had no idea there was a global bacon hand dryer phenomenon. :)
just another copycat
Copycat or not though, I still laugh every time I see it.
Ah, who says it was a copy-cat? It's bacon; the joke was inevitable!
Hilarious? Yes. Original? No. This is also in the men's bathroom on the first floor of the University of Guelph library.
Who cares how many times it's posted?
It's hilarious!
Also seen in the men's washroom at the Queen Mum.
i personally prefer the "clap for bacon" variation.
My father pointed one of those dryers out to me one time and translated it as, "put finger in hole, do magic tricks, receive infinite wisdom."
