But this weekend an ad was posted on the internet offering up a 3-year old child in the same manner.
All ended happily but not before a Toronto mom had a good scare. She got up early to do laundry and her confused 3-year old and 18-month old kids took to the streets at 4am looking for her.
The city scored its 50th homicide this weekend - another young life is lost to the gun.
David Beckham sat out in the soccer game against the Toronto FC on Sunday, but the international celebrity heartthrob raised quite the paparazzi stir by attending the Jays game yesterday.
The Toronto zoo debuted a couple of rare snow leopard cubs that were born here in a breeding program. There are only an estimated 3,500 to 7,000 worldwide.
