CityPulse Live-Eye Truck

CityTV Truck Landmark Gets a Makeover

At the end of July, I posted an update to the CityTV crazy truck story, explaining that CTV had decided to keep the landmark intact but change the design of the car to reflect the building's new inhabitants. Some of you hated the idea and some of you were glad to hear the truck was going to live on, but either way, the big day has arrived.

The makeover begins today and we ask you to hold your sidewalk heckling, as one of our own graphic whiz blogTO staffers was called upon to make this happen with tender love and care.

The new design requested by CTV will look very similar to the original but change "CityPulse" to the CP24 logo and "Live Eye" to "Breaking News"... along with cleaning up some of the dirt and rust that's built up over the years.

The only thing she thankfully won't be dealing with is the pigeon poop, which apparently there is an absolutely gag-worthy tonne of up there.

The whole thing should be done and spinning in the sun by Friday.

Update: Photos of the makeover have been posted.
