Tannenbaum's for a Good Cause

Posted by Tanja / December 11, 2006

20061211-xmastrees.jpgIf your plans for this coming weekend include picking up the perfect Xmas tree, here's a couple helpful suggestions:

First, avoid the Ikea parking lot trees. 'Cause if you want a tree like Charlie Brown's, Urban Outfitters on Yonge & Shuter have got just the thing. Besides, you know you'll just end up stocking up on meatballs instead.

Next, head over to the parking lot of St. Clare Elementary School on St. Clair West between Northcliffe & Dufferin (look for the uber cool retro-trailer pictured above).

There you'll find a nice selection of great trees and proceeds from your sale will go towards Toronto's Out of the Cold program. Now that's getting into the holiday spirit.

FYI - In the Annex on Markham St., north of Bloor is another place selling Xmas trees in support of "Out of the Cold"
