Trees Asking If They're Liked on Bloor

Passing by Bloor, east of Bathurst last night, I noticed a pink note tacked to a tree asking folks if they liked them or not. But what would this tree do with this information? Mail it to Parliament and lobby against climate change? Actually, that would be kinda cool.

That's actually pretty adorable. If I would've seen that tree, I was have stuck a Post-It on it saying "YES, I BE<i>LEAVES</i> I DO!" (trees love corny jokes, right?)
