AGO Ensnared in CiRCA Piss-Fight

The AGO's annual fundraiser - Massive Party (takes place tonight!) - seems to have been unwittingly ensnared in the ongoing grudge match between CiRCA honcho Peter Gatien and former partner Hingson Corp. See this Toronto Life Article for background on their much buzzed about fallout.

As it happens, the url circanightclub.com was owned by Hingson at the time of the break-up and they refused to give it up even when it became clear they'd no longer have any involvement in the club. It's now being used, conveniently, to drive traffic not to circatoronto.com, the url of CiRCA's actual web site Gatien was forced to use in its place, but instead to a site promoting Muzik, the location of tonight's Massive Party.

According to sources friendly to blogTO, Gatien is currently considering his legal options.
