This Week in Theatre: May 1 - May 8

Sun is finally here. Good sun. Time to get outside and see some theatre. Lucky for you there is a whole bunch of it opening in the next two weeks.

Better Living - George F Walker's East End Plays are classics in Canada. Here's the first of the bunch. A man returns to his highly dysfunctional family after a 10-year disappearance. Runs to July 1 and runs in rep with Escape From Happiness at the Factory Theatre.

Have I none - Set in the year 2077, this post-apocalyptic story of human behaviour in a strictly monitored society gets a staging on the Captain John's boat. Theatre on a boat? Got to give it a go. Especially with the works of the British controversial playwright Edward Bond. Runs to May 20th and brought to you by April Productions.

Evil Dead: The Musical - The horror flick gets a campy staging. Camp camp camp!!! Be prepared, especially if you're in the 'splatter zone'. Blood, music, cheese and more cheese. After a run Off Broadway the show comes to T.O with the headline Fun, Fun , Fun! Runs to Jun 23 at the Diesel Playhouse.
