Radar: Comedy at Czehoski, Kaeja d'Dance, Vancouver Film School Cross Canada Show, Design for Toronto

COMEDY | Comedy at Czehoski
Back for another fun-filled evening, Comedy Records is taking over Czehoski's. Tonight's bout of belly-busting humour will feature such comics as Canadian Comedy Award Winner Mark Debonis, Rob Bebenek, Diana Love, Ben Miner and more. Cheap beers and cheap shots will whet your whistle, so you can hoot and holler all night long to the stand up performances on stage.
Czehoski (678 Queen Street West), 9pm PWYC

DANCE | Kaeja d'Dance
Kaeja d'Dance brings us a special show tonight titled 20/20 Vision, which is a "multimedia 'future-spective' spin on 20 years of live dance creations." 20/20 Vision will feature four new dance works, choreographed by dance powercouple Allen and Karen Kaeja that will explore different themes that all share this 'future-spective' ethos, and for two of performances, this will be their world debut. The show will also be premiering The Visitor, Jericho, and a special remount of Karen's Quenched. The show begins tonight, and runs through until April 16.
Harbourfront Centre - Enwave Theatre (231 Queens Quay West), 8pm $17-$38

Vancouver Film School is traveling across Canada this month, promoting its programs as well as its outstanding talent. Tonight it will be gracing Toronto, with a full-packed itinerary including scholarship presentations, meet and greet with the Admissions department and a special presentation of award-winning student work. If you are at all considering a career in the arts, this is where you need to be.

DESIGN | Design for Toronto
The innovative and rising young stars of U of T's Praxis II course - an Engineering Science Design Course, will be showcasing their work for the public today at the Bahen Centre Atrium. This is a special day for them as it marks the culmination of many long days and hours spent applying their "engineering, design, and communication skills to local challenges." The Design for Toronto showcase has a specific focus on our great city, making it ever the more relevant and captivating.
