This Fool's Gold Will Leave You Screaming

Montreal DJ/Remixer/Producer A-Trak has been in the spotlight since he won the World DMC Championships at the age of 15. Since then, he has DJed all around the world, helped Kanye conquer the world as his touring DJ, and started two successful labels - most recently the very buzzed about Fool's Gold Records.

That label, along with local hotshot promoters A.P.E., are bringing a stellar line-up to the State Theatre this Friday night. The Screaming Bloody Murder Tour 2008 will surely slay Toronto with headlining sets by A-Trak, UK superstar Sinden, and Brooklyn-based Fool's Gold signee Sammy Bananas. The nail in the coffin will be local support by Ottawa's Jokers of the Scene, TO's own Nacho Lovers, and the promise of some surprise special guests. Wow.

A-Trak was too busy to complete a Q&A with me, but I was given two pairs of tickets to give away to blogTO readers instead. Score! So...the first two folks to leave a comment including the year A-Trak won the DMC World Championships will get the tickets. Good luck!
