Gearing Up for Summerlicious

Attention those of you who ever wanted to go to a restaurant but didn't because it was too-expensive: Summerlicious is here! (Well, almost.) Just wanted to give you a heads up that reservations are opening tomorrow. That means it's time to start forming a game plan: so many restaurants, so little time! You've got to decide where to eat!

Dinners typically range from $20 to $35. I'm hoping to score a reservation at Nectar - one of the many places in the city I've been meaning to try, but haven't gotten around to (ahem, er, I mean, haven't been able to cough up the cash for).

However, if you're more of a cheap-eats kind of person, I recommend Lee Garden, (noted at the bottom of the Summerlicious page), where you can score a great dinner for just $10. While loud and cramped in true Chinatown style, the food here is (in my opinion) superior to anywhere else on the row, and the dinner options feature some of their popular menu items.

Summerlicious sittings take place July 8 to July 24.
