  • The Borough, a new English-style pub, has opened its doors at 1352 Danforth Ave. On the menu are classic Brit comfort foods like Yorkshire puddings, bangers and mash, and bite-sized pot pies.
  • Fresh East, a Middle Eastern sandwich shop from the same folks behind Paramount Fine Foods, opens this week in Liberty Village at 120 Lynn Williams St.
  • Sukhothai is now open for business at 1442 Dundas St. West (formerly The Guild).
  • Gourmet Gringos is opening a sit-down eatery in the Beaches early next week at 1921 Queen St. East

  • Grey Tiger, a new licensed cafe with plans for a veggie-friendly snack menu, is in the works at 1190 Bloor St. West.
  • Delica Kitchen already boasts a location in Midtown and on the east side; now, a third quick service lunch counter is set to open at 920 Queen St. West.
  • Moo Frites, a Belgian frites outfit, is coming soon to 178 Baldwin St.. Expect the takeaway snack shop to serve up thick, hand-cut fries with a variety of dipping sauces.
