Who you gonna call? Robbusters!

So as to avoid allowing the mayoral campaign to get the better of us all -- it's been a long slog, and there's still a ways to go -- we've taken time out to show off Rob Ford's YouTube hits, imagined which Hollywood stars would play our candidates, wondered whether or not Rocco Rossi's Toronto Tunnel was inspired by a peyote trip, and spoofed a couple candidates campaign ads.

So when photographer Carl W. Heindl brought a new Rob Ford logo designed by his friend Greg Quin to our attention, I was immediately anxious to share. It's really so much more enjoyable posting this stuff than summaries of mayoral debates (although yesterday's arts-focused one was pretty good).

So, what do you think? Is Robbusters worth a smile or two? For my part, I agree with Carl's description: it's just "cute." More playful than nasty, my favourite part has to be that look on his face. Part constipated, part self-congratulatory, it's all Rob Ford.

Now all we need is someone to Photoshop the remaining candidates into a still of the Ghostbusters themselves. Any takers?

If so, I'd be happy to post it. If not, I'm also happy to imagine them donning their proton packs and taking aim at the front-runner.
