Dragon Centre is Toronto's original Asian shopping mall
Dragon Centre Mall was the first of its kind to open in Toronto. Considered the original Asian mall, it was a one-stop shop for goods and services in the 80s and 90s. In recent years, it has lost its lustre and there are now talks between the city and developers that have put this cultural landmark in limbo.
