DJ Skate night Toronto

Free DJ skate nights return to Toronto next month

Did you think Toronto's outdoor skating rinks were already fun enough? Think again because starting December 17 the Harbourfront Centre's DJ Skate Nights are back, and this year the lineup is as good as any hot ticket club party.

Every Saturday night for nine weeks (excluding December 24), the Natrel Rink next to Lake Ontario hosts live DJ sets from some of the city's most exciting DJs and special guests from 8-11 p.m.

Spanning musical genres like salsa, Afrobeat, disco and dancehall, and surrounded by fire pits and the new rink-side cafĂŠ-bar from Boxcar Social, it won't be very hard to keep warm. Just keep in time and you'll be fine.

Here's the official lineup for this year's skating party planning.

  • December 17 - Katie Stelmanis (Austra)
  • December 31 (8 p.m. - 1 a.m.) - New Year's Eve Ice Skating Jam with DJ P-Plus
  • January 7 - Beam Me Up with A Digital Needle & Cyclist
  • January 14 - La Rumba Buena by Blancon & Drumspeak
  • January 21 - Globetrotter by DJ medicineman
  • January 28 - Bey Skate with DJ Lissa Monet
  • February 4 - Soca on Ice featuring Dr. Jay de Soca Prince
  • February 11 - GUMBO featuring DJ Revy_B
  • February 18 1 LOVE T.O.'s 10th Anniversary Party with DJ Dlux & Yuknodis
