Massive bubble soccer facility to open in Toronto

If you're tired of regular old soccer, why not start playing the beautiful game while ensconced in a plastic bubble? Yes, like trampoline dodgeball before it, bubble ball is the latest hybrid athletic craze. And soon a new facility in Vaughan will let you try it even as the weather turns cold.

AT Bubble Soccer, located at 1300 Alness Street (less than a block north of Steeles, so, yes, Toronto) is set to open in a couple of weeks. With a 12,000 square-foot indoor facility, AT will include three synthetic turf fields for game play. According to its Facebook page, it'll host its grand opening event on October 10.

It'll cost you $17.70 to play Monday-Thursday and $22.12 from Friday-Sunday. If you don't want to stay onsite, you can rent a bubble for $25 each, making it even easier for you to channel your inner Bubble Boy.
