Toronto Raptors Party Square

Toronto Raptors fans gather outside the ACC to party

The Toronto Raptors started their playoff journey yesterday afternoon against the Brooklyn Nets, drawing thousands of fans to Maple Leaf Square before the game to cheer on the team and celebrate the arrival of post season play in Toronto. Although the on-court affair would ultimately end in disappointment (a 94-87 Nets win), fan enthusiasm remained high until the final buzzer. Marked by pimped out cars, DJs, multiple mascots, and the team's cheerleaders, the spectacle outside the arena was about as grand as the one inside (and a hell of a lot cheaper). The next game goes down on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. To get in on the party, you best plan to arrive a couple of hours early.
