summer drink

Polar Ice has a new vodka flavour and it's set to be the drink of summer in Toronto

Counting down the days to summer? You’re not alone. We can’t wait to spend more time outdoors, whether it’s relaxing by the beach or sunbathing in your backyard with friends.

And when the sun is shining, there’s nothing better than vibing with a fruity summer drink in hand.

Polar Ice Vodka has just launched a brand new flavour, Polar Ice Berry Blizzard, now available on shelves at the LCBO, and we predict it's going to be the drink of the season.

The vibrant blue drink definitely stands out from other flavoured vodkas when it comes to appearance alone, but if its eccentric colour isn't enough to entice you, its flavour surely will.

summer drinkFilled with zesty lemon and juicy sweet raspberry, Berry Blizzard was truly made for summer.

It's also crafted right here in Ontario and is now available at select LCBO locations – talk about exclusive. Plus, fitting with the blue theme, Polar Ice is the Official Canadian Vodka of the Toronto Blue Jays. Game day drinks, anyone?

You can stir up Berry Blizzard with lemonade or enjoy it like any berry-infused vodka -- as a shot or on its own with ice. It’s also perfect for creating a whole host of no-fuss cocktails, such as the Blizzard Bowl – a fruity, refreshing cocktail that’s super easy to whip up and share with friends.

To make the Blizzard Bowl, you’ll need:

  • 4 oz Polar Ice Berry Blizzard vodka
  • 16 oz Lemonade
  • A lemon wedge
  • Ice

Simply combine all of the above, and you’ll have a delicious concoction that serves four! Be sure to share your #BlizzardBowl on Instagram and tag @polaricevodka.

Tempted to try it for yourself? Polar Ice Berry Blizzard is available at select LCBO stores now. For more summer cocktail recipes that will pair well with all of your upcoming fun-in-the-sun activities, click here.
