Wako is a sushi restaurant and sake bar on Yonge St. near Sheppard Avenue. Despite its name resembling a character from the Animaniacs, this place is decidedly (and fortunately) less zany when it comes to their food. With a large variety of offerings and sushi rolls, this restaurant offers you a slightly fancier version of your typical Korean-run sushi joint. The chirashi is very fresh, and the service is quite good, though the portion sizes on their non-sushi dishes can sometimes be a bit on the smaller side.
