Pathpal Grief Summit

A first-of-its-kind grief summit is happening in Toronto and there's still time to register

Few people want to talk about grief — even though it's one of the most universal parts of being human. And while we often associate grief with death, the truth is it shows up in far more places: in the loss of health, a relationship, a version of yourself, a job, a sense of safety, or the life you thought you’d have.

The reality is that many people navigate grief in silence while continuing on with work, family, and other social expectations, while carrying something heavy beneath the surface. But the team behind Pathpal wants to contribute to a society that allows for the full experience of grief to be seen, understood, and supported.

Pathpal is a platform grounded in the belief that grief is an ongoing, whole-person experience that intersects with our mental, physical, and emotional well-being. And it deserves more than silence.

Pathpal Grief Summit

The Pathpal Grief Summit is a first-of-its-kind event taking place at The Warehouse Event Venue in Toronto on April 23, and was created as part of a growing movement to bring grief out of the shadows and into conversations.

Through expert-led talks, panels, and immersive experiences, The summit examines how grief shows up in workplaces and everyday life, while giving attendees practical tools and insights for navigating grief in all its forms.

pathpal grief summitDon’t let the word "grief" give you any false ideas of doom and gloom. The summit is designed to be an energizing and thought-provoking experience to explore grief as a universal, whole-person experience.

The reaches of grief can extend beyond loss by death, including identity, relationships, health, and life transitions, and the summit aims to navigate each and every aspect.

What to expect

The roster of speakers for the day includes Jess Sims, Peloton Instructor, ESPN reporter, and Good Morning America contributor, alongside Jenn Harper, Founder and CEO of Cheekbone Beauty. There will also be several other respected voices across mental health, business, and culture.

Pathpal Grief SummitTalks will examine life after loss, the intersection of equity, identity, and transformation, navigating loss in professional spaces, and more. The summit will also feature a dedicated health and technology panel that explores how innovation is shaping the future of mental health and support systems.

And while the event is meant to be uplifting, it's still important to reset and recharge when needed. A thoughtfully designed wellbeing lounge courtesy of Trove gives guests moments to take a breather and unwind as needed.

Tools for navigating grief

All of these keynote talks, panels, and immersive sessions will allow attendees to engage in honest conversations around resilience, mental health, and human connection, while equipping them with practical tools to support themselves, their communities, and their workplaces.
