distinguished gentlemans ride toronto

Hundreds of bikers dressed in formal attire will soon descend on Toronto streets

Throngs of dapper-dressed individuals on motorcycles will soon descend on Toronto streets as the annual Distinguished Gentleman's Ride thunders into town.

Marking their tenth year of destroying the old leather-clad biker stereotype, one bowtie at a time in support of Movember, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is hitting full throttle, not only in Toronto, but cities across the world this coming weekend.

Each year, anywhere from dozens to hundreds of motorcycle riders dressed in their Sunday best take to the streets to raise some springtime cheer, while a number of participating cities also use the occasion to fundraise for Movember, the world's leading men's health charity.

Over the past decade, Canadian rides have raised $3.3 million, which has gone towards supporting local men's health projects researching issues of major importance like prostate cancer and mental health, all on top of leading to some really great photos over the years.

In Toronto, it's all going down this Sunday, May 18, and it's not something you're going to want to miss.

Starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, the riders will gather, all dressed to the nines, at Cherry Street BBQ before hitting the streets at 9:30 a.m. From there, the crew will regroup at Humber Bay Park Rd. E. at 10 a.m. and The Prince's Gate at 11 a.m., before concluding the ride back at Cherry Street BBQ at noon.

This year, over 200 bikers are expected to participate, so it promises to be quite the sight to see, indeed.

For the 2025 edition, Canada is just one of 120 countries that'll see hundreds of sharply-suited bikers hit the streets on May 18, with the Toronto ride one of 33 worldwide that's raising funds for Movember.

You can find a complete list of all participating cities and rides on the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride's website.
