ART | All Pretty Pictures - Parkdale Village participates in Contact Photography Festival
CONTACT Photography Festival is one of the most exciting festivals our city has to offer, and a great way for up-and-coming photographers to get the attention they wildly deserve. This exhibit is extra special, as it features the works of high school students from Parkdale Collegiate Institute's after-school photography program. The pieces will be exhibited at eight different businesses along the strip of Queen Street West and will cover both present day issues and concerns of the Parkdale community. Opening reception kicks it off tonight at The River Trading Company.

Surround yourself in haute couture a la Paris tonight at Frugal Fashion Week's COUTURE event hosted at the beautiful Haute Classics chic boutique. The night begins with a fashion show starring some of the finest high fashion ateliers such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Stella McCartney. After which, the founders of Haute Classics will be styling fashion-goers, as French pastries and champagne are savored and sipped.

Tonight will mark the 16th year of Ryerson's School of Image Arts end-of-year exhibition, Maximum Exposure. Approximately 150 of our city's newest budding young artists will be showcasing their works across such areas as new media, photography, film and installation, and The Gladstone will be hosting the opening reception tonight. Not only is this event a part of this year's CONTACT Photography Festival but there is also a public installation aspect that is sure to turn heads. With such a long-standing history, it's no surprise Maximum Exposure is one of the city's hottest tickets tonight.
