Kai and her sultry vocals will be taking over El Mocambo tonight. Her irresistible tunes on her debut EP, 11:11 will have you tapping your foot and swaying side to side. Her single 'I Choose Me', nominated for an Independent Music Award is undeniably catchy. Talk about a lass with some serious talent and potential. Mandippal and Morning Thieves will be opening for this young chanteuse.

ART | All Pretty Pictures - Parkdale Village participates in Contact Photography Festival
CONTACT Photography Festival is one of the most exciting festivals our city has to offer, and a great way for up-and-coming photographers to get the attention they wildly deserve. This exhibit is extra special, as it features the works of high school students from Parkdale Collegiate Institute's after-school photography program. The pieces will be exhibited at eight different businesses along the strip of Queen Street West and will cover both present day issues and concerns of the Parkdale community. Opening reception kicks it off tonight at The River Trading Company.

FASHION | Couture
Surround yourself in haute couture a la Paris tonight at Frugal Fashion Week's COUTURE event hosted at the beautiful Haute Classics chic boutique. The night begins with a fashion show starring some of the finest high fashion ateliers such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Stella McCartney. After which, the founders of Haute Classics will be styling fashion-goers, as French pastries and champagne are savored and sipped.

ART | Maximum Exposure 2011: The Thesis Exhibition
Tonight will mark the 16th year of Ryerson's School of Image Arts end-of-year exhibition, Maximum Exposure. Approximately 150 of our city's newest budding young artists will be showcasing their works across such areas as new media, photography, film and installation, and The Gladstone will be hosting the opening reception tonight. Not only is this event a part of this year's CONTACT Photography Festival but there is also a public installation aspect that is sure to turn heads. With such a long-standing history, it's no surprise Maximum Exposure is one of the city's hottest tickets tonight.

DANCE | Mixed Repertoire
Dance lovers, newbies or those looking for something exhilarating to rev up their Thursday night should head down to Enwave Theatre for MIXED REPERTOIRE, a special presentation of contemporary dance. Four pieces will be performed tonight, with three of them being world premieres. This show is brought to the stage thanks to Yvonne Ng and her company, tiger princess dance projects.
