Radar: What's In The Box by Divine Right, Brian Borcherdt, Coresteppers, Go Pop!, DJs Lazarus, Osaze, & Oz

MUSIC | What's In The Box: Night 4 w/By Divine Right, Brian Borcherdt & More
Two excellent reasons to hit The Drake tonight... It's the conclusion of By Divine Right's three-Wednesday-nights-in-a-row run, and the fourth evening in the "What's In The Box" fest. This is a very cool lineup, with Brian Borcherdt (Holy F*ck), Germans, and Rattail, with BDR headlining. Plus a very special guest DJ - Brendan Canning of BSS.
The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West), 8PM $5

CLUBS | Coresteppers v14 at Nocturne
Cutting edge and aggressive sounds on Queen West: from raggacore to jungle and somewhere in between, your ears will be opened wide. Debaser, C64, Mighty Dreadnaut, DJ Blnd, and TalixZen will have their gear set to "stun" mode. There's also going to be an additional room with a whole other bonus lineup beginning at 10PM.
Nocturne (550 Queen Street West), 10PM $5

MUSIC | Go Pop! at The Supermarket w/ Kim Koren, Everywhere, and Lisa Kubista
It's time for another Wednesday night Go Pop! showcase! This event is always a great place to catch up and coming singer/songwriter oriented acts, plus the schmooze meters are always pinned, as music industry folks, musicians, and press mill about trying to make connects. Tonight's lineup features Everywhere, Kim Koren, and Lisa Kubista.
The Supermarket (268 Augusta Avenue), 9PM PWYC

CLUBS | A Special Holiday Event, with DJs Lazarus, Osaze, & Oz
Even those on the "dark side" must emerge to party during this holiday stretch. Well known Toronto after-hours goth/dark/industrial maestro DJ Lazarus will be the featured playlist provider this eve along with DJs Osaze and OZ.
Neutral (349a College Street) 10PM FREE

ART | Primal Gestures
Primal Gestures is a group show put on by the City Art Gallery, which began as an "outreach program" by Gallery Arcturus, as a labour of love to bring our TO urban centre and art together. This show will be featuring new artwork by Luke Gilliam, Eron Boyd, Deborah Harris, Floyd Kuptana, and Jamie Latrobe.
City Art Gallery (230 Queen Street East) 12PM FREE
