Headliner: Zabrina Douglas

Zabrina Douglas is one of Canada’s busiest and hardest-working comedians today. This comedy veteran is a parent of five active children, who maintains a demanding day job as a nurse. Despite her competing priorities, Zabrina manages a hectic schedule as a highly sought-after stand-up comedian; performing all across Canada and the U.S.

Douglas is a regular on Kenny Robinson's “Nubian Comedy Show” (Yuk Yuk's). In 2008, Zabrina was nominated for The Tim Sims Award and was featured in the “Cream of Comedy”, which aired on The Comedy Network, CBC and Teletoon.

She has since been featured in several major festivals, which include: JFL42, SLO Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Boston Festival, SHEDOT, and the Soulo Theatre Festival. Douglas recently performed several nights on the “Canuck Cabaret”, at the “New York Frigid Festival”, and in L.A. In 2012 she was recognized by the “Torontoist” as one of the “local ladies that make em laugh”.
