Pegah Peivandi (They/Them) is an Iranian-Canadian multidisciplinary artist from North York. With a focus on bold colors and textures that evoke a sense of surrealism, otherworldliness, and nostalgia, their artistic style captures a storybook reflection of adulthood and growth.

Pegah’s a multi-disciplinary artist, primarily focused on digital illustration, ceramic stoneware, and glazing. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories, forests, and flowerbeds, Pegah explores the multitudes plants have in common with us humans. Notes of traditional Persian ceramic tile illustration, calligraphy and poetry can be readily detected in Pegah’s art. Colours, motifs and ideas travel from the walls and floors of their childhood home to the mind of the viewer.
