WORK/DEATH (https://soundcloud.com/_type/sets/work-death-phone-about-to-ring)

Providence, RI electronics, noise legend Scott Reber arrives in Toronto in support of his Type LP "Phone About To Ring". Organic tones hover under a windstorm of harsh frequencies & crackling bass filled movements. Blistering, slow moving swarms scrape his world clean. A horrific apocalypse morphs into the trance like serene aural manifestations of daily life. Seriously heavy!

GORDON ASHWORTH (http://gordonashworth.bandcamp.com/)

Portland, OR experimental musician Gordon Ashworth, builds elegant collage compositions from field recording, manipulated tape woven with the sounds of his own guitar playing, electronic noise & live manipulations. Abstract rumblings give space for warped melodies, hopefully piano notes glisten in their seconds of freedom, before being swallowed up by the disintegrating landscape.

MANTICORE (https://soundcloud.com/mmmanticore)

Zoe Alexis-Abramd & David Jones touch the outer realms of alien communication with their duo Manticore. Haunting guitar tones shriek & twist as if letting go of some captive spirit. Like an unnatural wind meandering through an abandoned factory. Zoe's voice hovers above these eerie manifestations, some times joining them in an alien chatter, almost creating a dialogue with the wayward phantoms. As captivating as it is versatile, her vocals occupy an adventurous, almost naive territory, as they stretch out their acrobatic routine in a venomous world.

BEARD CLOSET (http://beardcloset.bandcamp.com/)

Toronto solo guitar slow motion shredder, creates blistering wall of guitar feedback, crackling & buzzing as he pushes heavy notes like sheets of scrap metal around beneath them. Tempered with drowning ethereal tones, reaching for the higher register, haunting. A crushing symphonies for the harsh heads. As the harsh psych walls collapse, kraut inspired guitar noodling emerges, awakened in it’s new freedom. Electronic hums & oscillations play with wayward guitar notes & looping minimalist patterns.
