Women of Comedy

Comedy Nuggets brings you a professional line up of women comedians seen on JUST FOR LAUGHS, COMEDY NETWORK, ABSOLUTE COMEDY, YUK YUKS, HALIFAX COMEDY FESTIVAL +MORE.

Live from The Danforth. The show is at The Social Capital Theatre (154 Danforth Ave.).

Here is a little about each of the performers in the show.

HONEY BENNETT

Honey is a prairie-born introvert. She spends most of her day trying really hard to be invisible. Her cut-throat and animated style of comedy surprises even herself sometimes. She has been seen sporadically throughout the city at The Merry Janes of Comedy, Cabbagetown, QAPD Up and Comers 7, and Absolute Comedy. While patiently waiting to be seen more frequently, Honey is spending her time with her 3 dogs. She is currently working on maintaining eye contact in one-on-one conversations with humans.

REBECCA MCDONALD

Rebecca is a lovable weirdo with a ukulele. She’s just full of surprises! She’s appeared on television… on the news… in the background. Once she met Will Smith as an extra on a movie set where she yelled at him “I loved you in suicide squad!” He thanked her awkwardly and walked away. She’s performed at Westfest Liit, she’s written a play that was performed at the Youth Infringement Festival, and she consistently takes her meds so don’t worry, she no longer bites.

BOUGIE B BOUGÉ

Bougie is a new up and coming Toronto comic. Born and raised in Toronto, she has spent years working as a plus size model, event planner and writing for a men's magazine. Last year, she finally decided to pursue her dream of stand up comedy and adding another check to her bucket list. She's just a year shy of her 1 year Anniversary. She's been featured on Comedy Kapow, Against the Collar and is A New Faces all-star.

CAMILLE CÔTÉ

Camille ventured into comedy as an eager young woman and continues to grow and strengthen her voice in Toronto, where she resides. Camille runs her most prized success near and dear to her heart called “Parental Discretion Comedy” (where comedians and their parents perform comedy). PDA has been featured on CBC radio and in “She does the city.” Her credits include; NXNE Festival, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Seattle Highlarious Festival, Sirius XM Radio, and she has opened for Bonnie Mcfarlane.

TRACY HAMILTON

Tracy's conversational style and cheerful sarcasm will make you feel as comfortable as she feels in her many cardigans. She performed in the SheDot Festival, has been published on CBC Comedy, and has opened for headlining acts such as Kurt Braunohler, Jackie Kashian, Aparna Nancherla, Todd Glass, and Chris Gethard, among others. Her dog is also very cute.
