Wings of Survival - 30 000km cycling expedition following migratory birds presentation:
Join us on a wild 30,000km ride, chasing migratory birds and epic adventures across the Americas. Immerse yourself into a story of resilience and hope: two cyclists, five migratory birds, and the power of change. 30,000km, 9 months, and 15 countries.
Some migratory birds travel more than 9,000 km without stopping to eat, drink, or sleep. Their incredible journeys inspire our own.
Join Us Before We Leave: Wings of Survival - a world-first Race with Nature
Late July, Wings of Survival will embark on a 30,000 km cycling expedition from Alaska to Patagonia, following the routes of migratory birds across the entire Americas.
To inspire planetary stewardship, we create educational resources for children, collect scientific data on both ourselves and migratory birds, and engage with communities across the flyway and beyond. By mimicking the remarkable endurance and navigation of birds, we hope to deepen our appreciation for the inseparable relationship between the health of wildlife, ecosystems, and people.
This is your chance to meet with us for our final pre-expedition community presentation.
Meet Timm and Leanna and discover what it takes to create an impact expedition — from building partnerships to preparing for months on the road. We will share the vision behind Wings of Survival, the science that advances our knowledge, the education that fosters stewardship, and the stories that nurture our love of birds.
Our presentation is followed by a Q&A session. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
Whether you're passionate about birds, conservation, science, education, cycling, or creating meaningful impact, we'd love to have you with us.
Join us as we launch the Wings of Survival expedition and become part of the community that brings this story to life
We look forward to seeing you in Toronto this afternoon!
