Winemaker's Dinner Chateau Siran at La Societe in Yorkville, Toronto

Edouard Miailhe, owner of Château Siran is coming to Toronto.

Judging by how much of the Château Siran has been purchased through WineOnline.ca over the last few years, clients have a whole lot of interest in this highly revered estate in the Margaux appellation in Bordeaux.

Château Siran is a much beloved winery in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of 9 Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels as of the 2003 listing.

January 16th, 2018 is going to be a memorable evening for those in attendance. The event is taking place at La Societe in Yorkville, (Toronto). Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne. We will then proceed to sit and enjoy a 4 course dinner.

Most importantly, we will taste through a vertical of Chateau Siran.

We will taste the following vintages: 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2016.

Tasting a vertical is always nice as it helps to us to understand the evolution of a wine. Some people like to drink their wine younger, some enjoy it older, some aren't quite sure. There is no right or wrong on this subject, there is only a matter of personal preference. Having the experience of trying some older vintages besides some younger ones will allow you to better know your preferred age of the wines you are enjoying.

The chef at La Societe has created a special 4 course menu to pair perfectly with these wines.

If you love wine and food, you are not going to want to miss this one of a kind event.

There will be a unique opportunity to purchase back vintages at the event.
