This interactive session focuses on the who, what, when, where and how of volunteering by exploring five ways volunteering can help with your job search.

•The types of volunteer roles available and the commitments they require

•How to use Volunteer Toronto's online search portal

•How to write a great cover letter and resume for a volunteer role

•Preparing to interview for a volunteer role

•Applying what you've learned during the volunteer application and screening process to the job search

•Developing transferable skills while volunteering

•How to network and gain references by volunteering

•How to highlight volunteering on your resume
