Video Vengeance #6 - The Uncanny - Free VHS Screening!

Everybody loves a cat - from Li'l Bub to Keyboard Cat, it's clear that cute n' cuddly kittens have been one of our favourite pop-culture obsessions in recent years. They've even been prominently featured on album covers by the likes of Jawbreaker and We Are Scientists!

But back in 1977, things were a little bit different.

Wilbur Gray - played by Peter Cushing - has discovered a terrifying secret: turns out that cats are actually bloodthirsty supernatural creatures and they have decided to be mere pets no longer!

Yes, it's The Uncanny (1977), a horror-anthology film about all the ways these cute and furry animals can end your life. Featuring Samantha Eggar, Donald Pleasence, John Vernon and more!

If you want to see helpless actors and actresses doing their best to act terrified as off-screen stage-hands toss cats at them, The Uncanny is for you! Gasp, scream and meow through three classic tales of feline terror!

Plus, we've got plenty of vintage vinyl, VHS tapes, and more up for grabs in our monthly raffle!

Remember, FREE ENTRY! Just arrive at 7:45 to grab your favourite seats, snag some beer and eat some nachos. Introduction and FREE RAFFLE begins just after 8:00 pm! Don't be late!
