BSMT254 & Spiritual World join forces to expose Toronto to the future sound of dub by bringing one of the most prolific, genre-pushing artists from the UK Dub / sound system scene to Toronto, and in fact Canada, for the very first time!

VIBRONICS (Leicester,UK) have been vibrating the world with bass since 1996. Their music is at the forefront of the UK Dub scene, proven by over 70 releases on their own legendary SCOOPS label as well as a host of albums, singles and remixes for a myriad of other labels such as Universal Egg, Jarring Effects, Dubhead & the mighty Jah Tubbys. In the studio they have worked with Michael Prophet, Iration Steppas, Macka B, Aba Shanti, Brain Damage, High Tone, Big Youth, Gaudi & an almost endless list of dub & reggae luminaries.

And we’ve stacked the bill with local talent, to show off what our city has on offer:

KIRK DIAMOND & FINN - the singer producer combo pushing our hometown sound in the best direction at the moment have a number of recent killer releases under their belt, propelling them to multiple Juno awards and, more importantly, countless rewinds in the dancehall.

N1_SOUND repping the Spiritual World record label in particular, and Toronto's underground electronic-dub sound in general will open the evening with their trademark heavy & spacey all-vinyl selections. And if we’re lucky, we’ll get to hear some of their limited run presses on the Higher Heights sound system

E ROY has chosen this particular evening to reemerge on the scene, and we’re honoured! Known for deep-cut selections, he has some new tricks up his sleeve and we really can’t wait for his set.

HIGHER HEIGHTS HIFI always bring the pressure - particularly when playing on their own sound. Nothing but the must crucial vinyl selections spanning the long, storied history of reggae & dub. And don’t be surprised if a special guest or two appear on the mic during their set.
