URINETOWN The Musical In Concert

Toronto Musical Concerts (TMC) presents a professional staged reading of Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis’ satirical musical, URINETOWN (The Musical) In Concert.

Tickets: $30 (General Admission), $25 (Student | Senior | Arts Worker)

In a Gotham-like city, a 20-year drought causes a terrible water shortage, leading to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a Hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

Tony Award-winning Urinetown: The Musical is an irreverently witty and humorous satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, municipal politics and the genre of musical theatre itself.
