This seminar will dive into the realities of meal-planning, diets, cooking, and nutritional science. David S. Ludwig, MD, Ph.D. a highlight of our Ambition Nutrition Symposium in 2016, is returning to George Brown College with his partner Chef Dawn Ludwig. With moderator Alison Fryer, they'll discuss the science of weight gain as explored in his book, Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells, and Lose Weight Permanently. This revolutionary book, featuring recipes by Chef Ludwig, rewrites the rules on diet, weight loss, and health.

Afterwards, there will be a short reception and a chance to meet and mingle with the authors.

About David S. Ludwig, MD, Ph.D.

Dr. Ludwig is a practicing endocrinologist and researcher at Boston Children's Hospital; Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School; and Professor of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health. Described as an "obesity warrior" by Time magazine, Dr. Ludwig has been featured in the New York Times and on NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN, and several other media outlets. His best-selling book Always Hungry? explains why traditional diets don’t work, and presents a radical new plan to help you lose weight without hunger, improve your health, and feel great.
