We are a team of Humber College students working towards our postgraduate certificate in Event Management. Inspired by all things vintage, we have a passion for creating events that allow you to relive the magic of the past. As part of our program we are planning and executing a charity event to raise funds for Voice - For Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children, and the Humber Scholarship Fund.

Unspoken is a movie experience like no other!

We urge you not to settle for another night in watching Netflix in your sweatpants. Instead, we hope that you’ll join us as we relive the glamor and festivities that defined the cinema experience of the 1920’s. You’ll be humoured by one of Hollywood’s original movie stars who will make you laugh without saying a word. But don’t worry; you won’t notice the absence of verbal dialogue because the film will be accompanied by a musical performance from Humber’s finest music students.

And what is a movie without buttered popcorn and delicious treats? We hope you won’t have to find out so long as you’re under our care. We ensure that there will be a variety of tasty treats to snack on as your enjoy the film.

Our event will also feature a cocktail reception, where you can enjoy signature drinks and appetizers inspired by the era. We want you to play the part, which is why there will be a photo booth fully equipped with vintage props.

Oh, did we forget to mention the silent auction? All of the proceeds raised at our event will be split 50/50 and donated to the Humber College Scholarship Fund and VOICE Toronto.
