Celebrate Pride the Ubuntu way: “I am because we are.”

Join us for a joyful outdoor gathering at Christie Pits Park bringing together queer women, trans women, and non-binary folks for an afternoon of Afrobeats, community, connection, and celebration.

Expect Afrodance, a women-led djembe drumming circle, games, potluck picnic vibes, and interactive community activities designed to help people connect in a relaxed and welcoming space.

20% of ticket sales, including $10 from every ticket, will support UPLift Black’s Newcomer Program supporting LGBTQI+ newcomers and refugees.
