As far as new up and coming original indie acts this is one of the best bills TWM and the Indie Machine have had at the Ranch in some time. Kicking off the night are Garrett Olson & the 49th Parallel who've recently moved to Toronto from Alberta, then the Toronto debut of fuzzy Ottawa art-poppers Saint Clare followed up by one of the best rising acts in Toronto in Ferraro before having the night closed out by the post-punk awesomeness of Get Off the Cop expand for full info, links etc:

Blurring the line of where indie-folk and indie-pop merge Garrett Olson and the 49th Parallel have been impressing since they relocated to Toronto from Alberta. Well worth getting out early for. Last time we had them on a show was a great success.

Not entirely sure how many members they are bringing down but it might be upwards of seven Saint Clare play arty indie-pop with some of the finest musicians Ottawa has to offer. There is an underlying punkiness and ethic to the music that has it stand out from the sea of indie-pop out there. Been trying to get them to Toronto for over a year. Stoked!

4 brothers who cut their teeth largely at the Cameron House where they made a name for themselves and now are trying to branch out and play more venues. They play addictive stick to your ribs style indie-rock with a throwback nod to what made rock classic all those years ago but a modern twist to keep it completely their own.

Hailing out of Hamilton Get Off the Cop are a new modern post-punk band in the style of legendary acts like Gang of Four. They have a few songs up on Bandcamp and they are great plus they feature Nick Johannes of the Kettle Black who is one of the country's most criminally underrated musicians.
