The Suburbia Tour, the second North American leg of Troye Sivans world tour in support of his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood, will kick off on October 16 with a show at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The fall run will include two-night stands at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles October 18 & 19 and Terminal 5 in New York City 11/14 & 15. See below for complete itinerary.
A ticket presale will begin on Wednesday, May 18, at 10:00 a.m. local time at www.troyesivan.com. Fans who pre-order the deluxe cassette edition of Blue Neighbourhood, or purchase any other item from his official music store will have access to the pre-sale for a chance at advance tickets. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 20, starting at 10 a.m. local time. A portion of ticket sales will go to The Ally Coalition, which supports LGBTQ causes and the fight against discrimination through education, awareness and advocacy.
Troyes first-ever North American tour, which kicked off in February 2016, sold out months in advance. The Boston Globe observed, it was apparent the 20-year-old musician will be playing larger rooms and to bigger crowds sooner rather than later. The Daily Californian praised his electricity and personality, not to mention his raw talent and noted, Sivan seemed as though he had been performing his whole life.
The young Australian artist will perform at the Billboard Music Awards as the KIA One To Watch artist. The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on ABC. Youth, from Troyes 2015 debut album, Blue Neighbourhood Capitol Records, topped Billboards Dance Club Songs chart and entered the Top 25 of Billboards Hot 100. The song is certified Gold and is quickly approaching Platinum. Views for the accompanying video, which can be seen HERE, exceed 25 million.
The New York Times hailed Troye as a prototype for tomorrows global pop star and TIME named the celebrated YouTuber as one of the most influential teens of 2014. Blue Neighbourhood, available HERE, topped over 50 iTunes charts around the world, debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and has earned more than 700,000 equivalent albums globally in five months. Troye has 20 million combined online followers and nearly one billion streams to date.
